Are you an author, artist or publisher who wants to sell stuff at BasedCon? Great! At BasedCon, we love the free market and encourage the voluntary exchange of goods!
Because we are still very small (we’re expecting around 100 people this year), BasedCon does not have a dedicated “author’s alley” like many cons. We have a series of tables where people can put out books and other merchandise to sell. You can hang out at the tables all day or you can put up a sign with payment information. The honor system works at BasedCon! If a buyer wants you to sign something, they can usually find you, unless you are hiding in your room.
There is no additional charge to sell merchandise at BasedCon. Just buy a regular registration and you’re good to go. A few months before the con, we will send out instructions for shipping merchandise to the con, for those who are flying and can’t cart stuff with them.
